ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the U.S. and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of registration. Employees, and/or immediate family members of Kikkoman International Inc., their parent companies, subsidiaries, or affiliates and their respective advertising and promotional agencies, the press, distributors, sponsors and all prize suppliers are not eligible. Void in Puerto Rico and prohibited where restricted by law.
TO ENTER: Access the www.KikkUpTheFlavor.com Web site and follow the Sweepstakes link as indicated, beginning on/about 12:01am PST March 14, 2005 and ending on September 30, 2005, 11:59pm PST. Please include your name, age, complete address and e-mail address. All entrants will have the option to complete the included questionnaire in its entirety. Additionally registrants will have the option to receive e-mail updates and offers from Kikkoman International Inc. By registering, registrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Limit one entry per e-mail address per day. You may enter daily. Only one prize will be awarded per e-mail address.
Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected e-mail or for any human error or technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. Sponsor is not responsible for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in or accessing or downloading information in connection with this promotion. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate registration information.
WHERE TO FIND GAME PIECES: Look for game pieces printed on specially-marked Kikkoman bottles, where available before 9/30/05 or until supplies of specially-marked bottles last. Not all brands and package sizes may participate in all areas. Game pieces may not be sold, traded, bartered, auctioned (including through Internet auction sites), given away or obtained through any source other than from the purchase of a Product, Survey Participation (see below), Refer-a-Friend (see below) or through the following "No Purchase Necessary" method.
"No Purchase Necessary" Method: To receive one free game piece and/or a copy of Official Rules, without purchase and while supplies last, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope postmarked before 9/23/05 to: Kikk Up the Flavor Game Piece, 9745 Mangham Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45215. Please allow enough time for the code to arrive via regular mail. Residents of the states of VT and AL may omit return postage. Limit one free game piece per request per stamped outer envelope. Kikkoman International Inc. ("Sponsor") assumes no liability for lost, late, stolen, illegible, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete or postage-due mail or requests.
Reward for Survey Participation: If you choose to answer the one time survey located in the "Survey" section of the Web site completely you will receive a one-time bonus code.
Reward for Refer-a-Friend: For every 5 friends you refer that register to enter the Kikk Up The Flavor Sweepstakes in the "Refer-a-Friend" section of the Web site, you will receive one bonus code. There is no limit to the number of codes that can be earned.
Register/Access the Web site at www.KikkUpTheFlavor.com and click on the Sweepstakes link to access the registration page. At that point, to enter you must:
1. Complete the registration form with your e-mail, name, age, address, and zip code.
2. Create a username and password.
3. Enter your Code exactly as it appears on your game piece, free Code mailing or Code received by e-mail. If it is not entered exactly as it appears, it will not be accepted.
4. Follow the directions to submit the registration information, including the Code and enter the Sweepstakes.
Note that once a Code is properly entered and submitted it cannot be entered again.
Once you are registered, an account will be created for you. When you return to the Sweepstakes Web site you will be asked to login by providing your username (e-mail address). This accesses your Kikk Up The Flavor account. You can then enter an additional Code(s) to enter the Sweepstakes more than once. Limit one code entry per day per e-mail address. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
The use of automated or third party software or another Web site not approved by Sponsor in order to register or enter this Sweepstakes is prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is suspected of tampering with the entry process. In the event of a dispute regarding any entry, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry (i.e., the person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address). Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes or disqualify entrant if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.

INSTANT WIN: Prize Winners will be randomly selected online beginning March 14, 2005 from eligible entries. The random drawing will be conducted by Kikkoman, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Instant Winners will receive immediate prize notification. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. All prizes may not be awarded.
GENERAL RULES: Each entrant must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such terms and conditions. Potential winner(s) may be notified by e-mail and/or overnight mail. Potential Grand Prize, travel companion and First Prize winner(s) may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and a Publicity Release, except where prohibited by law, within fourteen (14) days of notification. If the potential winner does not respond in the allotted time, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be randomly selected. No cash value or other substitution of secondary prizes allowed, except at the discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value in the event a prize is unavailable. Prize cannot be transferred except in Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor (i) makes no warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind concerning any prize, (ii) disclaims any implied warranty and (iii) is not liable for injuries, losses or damages arising out of any person's participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance and use of any prize, including travel relating thereto.
